Whittling and Stage Combat

After school club

Our first after-school club has been a storming success this year! A group of 15 children explore, adventure and play every Tuesday afternoon. Following the ethos of ‘Let Your Imagination Run Free’, the weeks have been based around learning new outdoor skills, playing lots of games and imaginative story-telling.

Each week the group learns something new, from The Story of Fire, to The Story of Tribes, to The Story of Community. Learning the hakka dance, stage combat lessons and making and eating their own pizza were just some of the highlights!

Wild Child leader Sam Markusse is really proud of how the weeks have gone: “What has been most exciting is to see the kids learn more about themselves as the weeks have gone by. Imagination and stories are so important for children, and they’ve really loved this part of the club”

The after-school club will run in the Autumn term and it has proved very popular so watch out for more information on how to book, and sign-up to our mailing list to make sure you hear when booking opens.
