WHAT WE DO
What We Do
At Paradise Cooperative, everything begins with our garden: a shared space in Wandsworth where people and nature grow side by side. Our work is built around three core programmes: the Garden, Education and Community.
Together, they reach thousands of people every year, from school children and volunteers to families, community groups and partner organisations.
Education
We deliver high-quality outdoor learning for local primary schools in Wandsworth, supporting children’s confidence, creativity and connection with nature. Our sessions link directly to the national curriculum and are designed to be active, inclusive and memorable.
paradise learning
Our core schools programme delivers curriculum-linked workshops for EYFS, KS1 and KS2 students across topics from plant science and habitats to World War II history and storytelling through nature. In 2025 we reached 3,276 pupils across 10 local schools.
wellbeing with nature
Our free, funded programme for pupil-premium children offered smaller group sessions focused on wellbeing, confidence and social connection through creative outdoor play: with planting, fire lighting, art and mindfulness woven throughout.
Previously supported by the Wimbledon Foundation, this programme is currently paused as we explore future funding.
nature-based learning network
A network for primary school educators in Wandsworth and beyond to connect, share and develop their thinking about outdoor learning.
beyond the classroom
Not all of our education work is curriculum-linked. Alongside Paradise Learning, we offer experiences focused on creativity, wellbeing and nature connection, particularly for children who face barriers to accessing the outdoors or who benefit from a different kind of learning environment.
