VOLUNTEER WITH US

two volunteer sessions, every week

We host two volunteer sessions every week, as a chance to contribute to your local community, learn skills, meet new people and help us produce food to donate to local social enterprises.

COMMUNITY GROWING

Sunday mornings, 10 AM – 12 PM.
All ages (children are welcome, but must be accompanied by an adult)

Family-friendly volunteering in the community garden. Learn new skills, help grow food, care for the space and support local biodiversity while giving back to your community. You’ll contribute to a thriving garden, supporting local schools that visit weekly, community members in need, and food donations to local social enterprises.

All skill levels welcome. Come as you are and learn as you go.
Free mini-workshop at 11am each week.

mindful GROWING

Every Tuesday afternoon, 12.30 – 2.30 PM.
Adults only.

A calm, supportive gardening session for adult wellbeing. Mindful Growing offers gentle gardening, nature connection and shared activity in a relaxed, welcoming group. There’s no pressure to be productive, and a wide range of skill levels.

We do gentle, optional gardening and nature-connection activities, harvest produce for our Community Food Initiative, and finish with shared snacks and refreshments.

DUKE OF EDINBURGH AWARDS

Are you working towards your Bronze, Silver, or Gold Duke of Edinburgh Award? Join us and gain hands-on experience in community gardening, sustainability, and teamwork while making a real difference in your local area.

We welcome DofE students to volunteer on Sunday mornings (10 AM – 12 PM) as part of our Community Growing sessions.

OTHER WAYS TO VOLUNTEER

Not sure if one of our weekly sessions is right for you? Or have another skill you’d like to contribute? We’re always keen to hear from people interested in becoming a trustee, supporting on a one-off or with other ideas. Email community@paradisecooperative.org and we can discuss!
