OUR EDUCATION PROGRAMME
paradise learning
Help your students build a lifelong connection with nature through immersive, hands-on learning in our unique biodiverse garden. Paradise Learning’s outdoor workshops invite children to explore, discover, and belong in the natural world, nurturing curiosity, resilience, and a deep sense of environmental care.
Our sessions emphasise child-led exploration, supported risk taking, and regular contact with the outdoors. Led by our experienced education team, each workshop is carefully designed to support the national curriculum while prioritising meaningful time in nature. Children learn with nature, not just about it! Developing observation skills, confidence, teamwork, and emotional wellbeing.
Our programme spans science, geography, history, English, and art through more than 20 engaging workshops tailored for EYFS, KS1, and KS2. Every activity encourages children to slow down, notice, question, and form personal connections with the living environment around them.
Last year, over 2,200 children participated in fully outdoor sessions. Teachers from Member Schools reported powerful impacts:
- 96.7% observed a stronger connection to nature among pupils
- 76.7% reported increased self-esteem and confidence
- Many noted improved engagement from children who struggle in traditional classroom settings
GET INVOLVED
If your school would like to get involved, we offer a membership programme to local primary schools.
A membership includes 12 curriculum-based sessions throughout the academic year and a Paradise Learning assembly for all pupils.
We sometimes also have availability for single bookings for non-member schools. These places are limited so get in touch as early as possible in the academic year to avoid disappointment.
To register your interest or find out about more prices and booking, please contact Tess, our Head of Education, using the link below.

WHAT TEACHERS SAY:
“Children have a new appreciation for nature. They have grown in confidence and willingness to explore.”
“Watching children experience nature and the outdoors is magical! Seeing the wonder when children achieve things they never thought they could do like starting a fire is so special.”
“It was nice to see the children in a different environment; some children who find the classroom environment challenging thrived in the outdoor space.”
