Wild Child Half Term Club

Chickens, mushrooms, fires and dens

We had a new group of Wild Children join us at half-term for 5 days of fun, games and stories outside.

On Monday we visited Tom’s Farm, a local animal farm and the children loved meeting the goats, watching the snakes and cuddling guinea pigs. On Tuesday we visited our partners at Growhampton, where the children learnt about worms, bees and fungus and had fun cooking and eating outside. On Wednesday they made dens and whittled sticks, and played lots of wide games on the common. On Thursday they visited Global Generation Paper Garden and learnt how to make paper birds and planets, as well as learning about the universe and the stars. Finally on Friday we had a pizza feast cooked in the pizza oven, and made rain-sticks and told stories.

What a week! Enjoy the photos and get in touch if you’re interested in our next club.
